Privacy policy

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, phone number, email address, suburb, and whatever you tell us about the job. We use it to contact you about your enquiry and to quote the work. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Where it goes

The form posts to this site’s own hosting, which forwards it to our email. It is not shared with anyone else except a subcontractor who needs it to carry out your job.

Photographs of your home

We photograph jobs for our own records and, with permission, for this website. Two things we do as a matter of course:

• Every published photograph has all of its metadata stripped. Phone photos carry GPS coordinates accurate to a few metres, along with timestamps and device identifiers. Rather than deleting those fields, each image is rebuilt onto a blank canvas so no metadata exists to leak.
• Captions describe the type of work, never the suburb or the address. If a frame contains anything identifying — a street number, a document, personal effects — it is cropped out or the photograph is not used.

If you would prefer we did not photograph your job at all, say so and we will not.

Cookies and analytics

We set no advertising or tracking cookies of our own, and there are no analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

The suburb pages embed a Google Map so you can see the area we are talking about. That embed is served by Google and will set Google’s own cookies when the map loads. It is loaded lazily, so it is only requested if you scroll to it. Nothing about your enquiry is shared with Google.
